"The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all." John F. Kennedy

"Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country.” Franklin Delano Roosevelt

This on-line government course will help the student understand the importance of government in their lives and the people that surround them. Also, it will show how government changes lives daily and that by standing still and not participating with your civic duty, progress falters. Thus, hurts the cause of democracy. This class will also give you a better understanding of who you are politically and make you a more informed voter. It will help you understand the gift of giving back to the community and how one person can change the lives of many. Government is more than just a class you take in school or about politicians that lie and cheat. It is an institution that will be in your lives forever. You must learn to understand the truth about what politics and government are all about. This class will help you with these questions.
